‘A+’ is a US-based qualification, now widely popular and increasingly in demand in the UK. It is aimed at those with some basic knowledge of PC Maintenance, and as well as being a valuable qualification in its own right, is an excellent forerunner to the MCSE (Microsoft Certified System Administrator) or the MCSE (Microsoft Certified System Engineer).
Duration: 1 day per week (day release) X 14 weeks
Prerequisites: Completion of the Basic Computer Maintenance (NCFE) course or equivalent knowledge.

Costs:
Companies: £995, this includes 2 X exams at £113 each (unless subject to funding).
Funding is available if:
1. You are employed but applying as an individual, the cost will be £995.
2. You are unemployed and claiming any of the following benefits – income support, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit, Disability Working Allowance or Job Seekers Allowance - the cost of the course is £495.
3. You are not working and not claiming any of the above benefits the cost is £995
