Apprenticeships Explained

An apprenticeship gives you the best of both worlds. You will be able to earn money whilst working and gain a nationally recognised qualification at the same time.

You will gain confidence, develop your skills and abilities, plus, get the kind of experience that employers look for.

There are two levels of apprenticeship; Foundation and Advanced

They last on average up to 18 months depending on experience, and are aimed at those under the age of 25.

Apprenticeships are open to those who are unemployed - we/you find a work placement beore or soon after starting the programme. Or, you can already be in a permanent job.

Harlow ITeC offers apprenticeships in:

  • Using IT
  • IT Practitioner L2
  • IT Professional L3
  • Customer Service
  • Business Administration
  • Teamleading

The benefits of being an apprentice are fully funded training, increased motivation and positive commitment from both employer and employee.
