Get into Office Administration

Target Audience

This course is designed for those who want to gain the necessary knowledge and skills to secure an office administration role.
It is aimed at those who have had a career break to look after children or family, who are unemployed, or those who have left school or college and want to continue with their education to gain further qualifications to assist them into the workplace.

Prerequisites:
A basic knowledge of wordprocessing.

Timings:
The course will run for three days per week (Mon, Tue, Wed), from 9.30am to 2.30pm, to fit in with school hours.
The course will have an enrolment day on 14 th November 2005, and will begin on 21 st November. It will run for 24 weeks (excluding holiday periods).

Cost:
For those who are not in any form of employment and are claiming any of the following benefits then the course tuition fees are FREE. However, there is a charge for registration, exams and course books, which total £199. Benefits: Income Support, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit, Disability Working Allowance or Job Seekers Allowance. Delegates who are receiving free tuition will be asked to pay a £50 deposit which is refundable upon completion of the course. For those who are in employment there is a fee of £350, plus a fee of £199 for registration, exams and course books.

Course Overview:
This programme has been designed to give a variety of administration skills and business practices. It gives a flavour of specialist skills required for medical and legal administrators, as well as a structured programme on returning to the workplace.
